KIA EVs will gain access to Tesla's Supercharger network starting January 15, 2025.

Kia is setting January 15th as the date its electric vehicles will get access to “more than 16,500” Tesla Superchargers. This development allows Kia owners to utilize Tesla's extensive and reliable fast-charging infrastructure, significantly enhancing charging convenience and accessibility for Kia electric vehicle drivers. This move aligns with the growing trend of interoperability among EV charging networks, providing more options for electric vehicle owners.

Kia will provide free NACS adapters to people who got their EV9 or EV6 after September 4th, 2024, but all existing owners will have to pay an as-yet-unspecified amount.

The free adapters will start shipping to customers in early 2025, while current owners can purchase the adapter at an authorized Kia dealer “at a later date.” GM similarly announced last week that its EV customers would have to pay $225 for the NACS adapter to add Tesla Supercharger access.

Symagal NACS to CCS1charging adapter will be a better choice for the current owners. Its 250kw Fast Charing offers charging up to 250 kW, rated voltage max 1000V DC. The Tesla to CCS1 charger adapter can fully charge your car in a few hours, greatly saving you time charging on road trips. With over-voltage, over-temperature, and over-current protection so you can safely charge your car while on the road. Made of high-quality materials, durable and reliable. IP54 waterproof protection, which can use in rainy weather.
